If you are tired of being cheated several times during gameplay. Then there is no need to worry any further. Liar’s Bar has introduced a mod known as “Liar’s Bar Anti-Cheat Mod”. It is a tool specially designed to keep the game fair and exciting by stopping the cheaters. Features You Can Use Now:

Confusion of Players’ Cards
With this feature, cheaters are not able to see your real cards. Every player’s cards will appear as five jokers until it’s their turn to play.

Confusion of Played Cards
Cards on the table will also show as jokers, hiding their real value from cheaters.

Bullet Position Confusion (Host-Only)
Your bullet’s position in Russian Roulette mode is hidden. For cheaters, it looks like it’s always in the last chamber, only revealing the real position on the turn.

Automatic Cheater Kick System
The mod automatically kicks players trying to cheat by:

  • Playing cards that are not in their hand.
  • Changing their bullet position in the middle of the game.
  • Placing a bullet in an invalid chamber.
  • Altering their shot counter (e.g., reducing the number of shots).
  • Tampering with chat messages (e.g., showing another player, hiding their name, or changing their name color).

Features in Development:

Bullet Position Obfuscation for All Players
Bullet positions for all players will be hidden, similar to the host’s bullet obfuscation.

Bullet Rigging Prevention
It prevents cheaters from deciding where their bullet will land at the start of the game.

Planned Features:

Movement Mod Prevention
Blocks mods that make characters move in mysterious or distracting ways (like illegal head movements).

Compatibility with Other Mods
This mod ensures that it works smoothly with other mods.

Custom Player Ban List
It allows the hosts to keep cheaters permanently banned from their games.

How to Install the Anti-Cheat Mod

Step 1: Install BepInEx

BepInEx is a tool that helps load mods into the game. Follow their installation guide to get it set up.

Step 2: Generate Mod Folders

  • Launch Liar’s Bar once after installing BepInEx.
  • This will create the necessary folders for your mods.

Example path:
 C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Liar’s Bar\BepInEx\plugins

Step 3: Download the Mod

Go to GitHub and download the Anti-Cheat mod file (e.g., LiarsAntiCheat.dll).

Step 4: Move the Mod File

Copy the downloaded file to the BepInEx/plugins folder.

Important Note: Host-Only Mode

This mod only works if you are hosting the game. If you join another player’s lobby the mod will not be active. But you can still play the game without any issues. Furthermore, with the help of this mod, you can focus on the game to enjoy a fair game experience.
